Political donations on Amazon

I don't know if the link here will work for all of you, it might have some weird cookie data in it, but it's a link to Gary Nolan, a libertarian candidate this year for president. You can donate money to his campaign through amazon.com.

The great part is, he's the third highest grossing candidate, making only a couple thousand dollars less than Bush himself. Apparently a lot of libertarians use Amazon. It's amazing to see that kind of outpouring of support, maybe people are finally getting sick of the nonsense.

I just sent him some money, because I'm voting libertarian this year. Given a choice between the two major candidates this year, I don't want either of them to win, and I can't even give one of them a slight edge over the other. Kerry spouts bullshit about Bush "losing jobs" even though there were no economic policies that did so, he's for big government and higher taxes, and all the standard democratic nonsense. Bush, however, is also for big government, making Medicare and Homeland security bigger, and we don't have any exit strategy for Iraq.

They're both complete losers, and the fact that one of them is going to be our next President makes me sick to my stomach.

So I'm doing my part as a voting citizen to vote my conscience, and give my support and money to someone I believe in. Check out Nolan's bio. You may not agree with all of it, but chances are you'll agree with some of it, because he's honest about his intentions. The only people honest these days are the ones with no chance in hell of winning.
