Bush proposal to send man to Mars

I don't care if it's political, I don't care if cynical people all over the web are whining and pouting about this because they hate Bush.

This is a fucking GOOD THING. We're talking about going to MARS. We've not landed a man on another astral body for over thirty goddamn years, with technology that looks like flint and stones compared to what we can do today.

We need to be out there, exploring, pumping up our space program, getting off this rock and learning about the universe. This is a good thing. I'm happy. There's going to be a man on Mars in my lifetime.
