guessing game

As evidenced by my previous drooling post, I'm obsessed with getting my hands on Half Life 2 as soon as humanly possible.

The interesting thing here is that the publisher is refusing to give a release date.

This is apparently leading to retailers simply guessing on the release date. That pisses me off, because I have no idea when I'll get the damn thing.

Amazon.com says December 1st

Interestingly, Amazon.fr says November 21st. I find this highly unlikely that Amazon in France would get it first.

Electronic Boutique is the most optimistic, saying November 14th. I'd like to believe them, because that's a sooner date, but I don't believe they'd get it two weeks before Amazon.

I just want it NOW. Right NOW.
