Final Fantasy XI

I can never get a feel for how many of you guys that read this are hardcore gamers, but I figure I'd ask.

I haven't been keeping up on news about Final Fantasy XI, but it comes out in like 10 days, so I figured I'd ask.

What have people heard about it? Does anyone know any beta testers, or have beta tested it themselves?

I love the Final Fantasy world so much, but I'm kind of sick of MMORPGs, because they're all pretty similiar and not nearly as powerful as I want them to be yet. I'm tempted to try it out, though, because it's Squaresoft.
