Two things heard on the radio

I've not verified either of these claims yet, but I'd like to.

1) Apparently senior citizens are not allowed to buy private insurance that just covers prescription drugs. It's actually ILLEGAL. If this is true, it's fucking terrifying because it sounds like a scam to FORCE seniors to be grateful for government paid prescription drug insurance, and to buy votes. HATE. POLITICIANS. SO. MUCH.

2) 80% of all millionaires in this country were born in an income bracket below $100k a year. If this is true, that's really cool, because it disproves all the whiners that claim that most of the rich were born into money, and didn't earn it.
