I just heard, on a call-in show where someone was proposing a fair, flat sales tax, an angry liberal caller who stated, "You only object to the progressive income tax because you're not poor."

Well, gee, how'd she figure that one out? Objecting to a system that's unfairly fucking you?

That's like telling a black person, "You only object to black slavery because you're black." Idiot.
