People worry about the stupidest things

Apparently teachers and parents are worried about computers "killing" cursive handwriting.

I myself haven't written anything in cursive since I was forced to, back in grade school. What a stupid thing to worry about. People will always still write, there are always things that need to be jotted down, it's not like kids aren't going to be taught to write with their own hands anymore. And even if they weren't, who cares? It's like worrying about people forgetting how to ride horses after cars are invented. There will always be people who write in cursive as a quaint hobby, but typing is faster, and more efficient in many ways. It's astonishing how humans fear change so much that any change is considered bad.
